I am a Hilton Diamond member, and this hotel delivered in every possible way!We just returned home from a perfect family vacation. This resort was absolutely fantastic! Service was top-notch from every department. "Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you" was just an example of how the staff treat their guests. The rooms were clean and spacious, and every room (above the 3rd floor) has an unobstructed view of the ocean. Excellent selection of restaurants and the food was great everywhere we ate. The location was perfect - it felt secluded but was only a 7 minute (150 peso) taxi into town.We will 100% be back and will recommend to anyone.

We stayed at this resort with my friend two weeks ago.Location is very good, rooms have a beautiful view. However, hotel is very outdated and in not very good condition. It really needs lots of new renovations, and updates. Our room's walls were kind of disgusting, rest sofa bed had a big dirty dark spot. Upon our check-in,arrival, when we went up to our room,we noticed right away that our room was very poorly cleaned. It was dust everywhere on the furniture. We had to wipe it and clean. Also, one of the beds sheets were not washed well....I stay often at Hilton hotels when I travel, and that was a first time the hotel was in such bad not updated condition, and rooms were not properly cleaned while we stayed there too.But besides all of that, we loved every other amenities hotel had to offer.Nightly entertainment was very good, beautiful shows.I would like to notice room service: very professional, friendly, good timing.Among the restaurants we loved sushi place. Very good food, freshly prepared, and service was excellent. Special thanks to waitress Karen, and sushi cook Osvaldo. Very friendly and nice people. Also, would like to mention manager of Asian restaurant-Alan,and very good cook Christian, who made for us customized meals. From front desk personnel I would like to mention Alejandro, the most friendly person, who delivered exceptional customer service experience 😀Beach service was very good, all personnel did a great job. Special thanks to Omar and Jose. And of course beach guard Ismael-:)Overall, our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. 🌇 sunsets are breathtaking and you can see whales 🐋 from the hotel beach.Puerto Vallarta boardwalk is worth visiting, very interested, vibrant place!

This is my second time staying at this resort. Last year my experience didn't go well. But I still decided to give thus resort a second chance.Things that have definitely improved from last year is service, service, service! This time I was very happy with the service provided from front desk to the pool deck staff and to room service. Special thanks to Daniel from the pool staff to take care of us. Blanca was also one of the lovely staff member.I also wished that they work more towards the entertainment for the guests, live music, one minute games, karokee are few things manager can look into. Now for the food, the food is decent but can be better. Italian restaurant is the only one that provides tasteful food and a large menu. Asian restaurant lacks Asian recipes and steak house has limited menu. Overall the resort provided a family ambience and a very clean resort with staff available to you all the time.

Hilton Vallarta Riviera All inclusive in Mexico is the best place to vacation. It is very secluded, private, safe. The ocean view room was the best. Rooms are very roomy, well decorated. The food and drinks are to die for. Eat all you could eat all day all night. They also have variety, several restaurants in spot. You could order in 24hours. Several events on spot. Rooftop jacuzzi. Oh I love the key to the rooms, you could never leave them behind, it’s a bracelet. This was the best all inclusive vacation I had in a long time. From now on I am only vacationing with Hilton

This hotel has a lot of potential. However, we weren’t happy because the fridge in the room didn’t work, the tv wasn’t working, and the balcony door was having trouble opening. Other than that the food is amazing and the location is great. The main buffet place was closed. The breakfast in the outside restaurant was a bit difficult to eat at because there were flies around the food. They do have a lot of activities and a private beach. We tried to let them know, but they said there was nothing they can do for us. I would stay again if they had listened to our issues and fixed the problems while on our stay.

What an amazing All-inclusive Resort. The best service staff I have witnessed in quite a while. The resort rooms are great but the best feature is all of the different floors and amenities that you can visit. We stumbled upon the Rooftop bar on the last day and didn't want to leave. Food choices are great and plentiful.

My recent stay at Hilton Vallarta Riviera was far from relaxing. First off, there was constant construction noise by the pools during the day, and one of the restaurants was completely shut down. The air conditioning in our room made an annoying "clicking" sound every 10-15 minutes, making it nearly impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, the traffic noise from the nearby road added to the disturbance. There was also a strange policy of only giving four small water bottles per room, which made staying hydrated difficult—especially in a resort where you're encouraged to drink a lot. On top of that, the elevators were a nightmare! For several days, only two were working, and even when a third was added, they were still slow and overcrowded. The hotel had obvious maintenance problems, too. For example, a vent in my room literally fell out of the wall. The food options were just okay—buffet and the Mexican restaurant were the best, but room service was subpar with cold meals, including what seemed like frozen pizzas that were barely reheated.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel with all the ongoing issues and lack of basic comforts. Hilton should seriously look into fixing these problems. But to conclude, the employees here with their hospitality and kindness were the one saving grace as they were on top of their game with service and kindness.

We just got back from this awesome resort. From day one everyone, I mean everyone, was so welcoming, accommodating and willing to help! We enjoyed the trip very much. Special shout out to pool bartenders Jose, David and Octavio: You guys are the best! They were nice and friendly, not to mention they made the best drinks, ever! This trip was the most relaxing, fun and memorable! Also Manuel from the entertainment team who was in charge of the craft table taught my girls to make bracelet. We all had a blast and can’t wait to go back next time!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I don’t even know where to start. First, the resort itself is breathtaking, from the lobby, to the restaurants to the multiple pools and the beautiful beach. The service was so impeccable that at times we felt like the staff was reading our minds, If we had a want or request it was provided for us us before we could get the words out. Our room was spotless, the linens were plush and the bed was heavenly. The architecture and decorating are extremely impressive. The food and drinks were a constant pleasurable experience and again, every single restaurant staff was warm, friendly and extremely attentive! But most of all we felt that the people were so genuine and accepting, not just because they were providing us a service but because they were representative of the kind and comfortable Mexican culture. If we ever have a chance to come back here again there will be no question.

So, this is a really nice place and a great value for an all-inclusive. The food was certainly better than average, however smaller portions at the better restaurants in the evenings. The drinks were fantastic, but not so much at the pool bar which there is only one of and it is constantly making drinks. The service was fantastic, and I didn't feel like I was needing to wait long for drink or food service at the pool. I would say all of the staff do a great job managing a very busy place. A couple of complaints I had where that they probably shouldn't work on the pools in the middle of the day. Use lights and do that at night when it isn't so hot and people are sleeping. Taking one pool out of commission during the day is unfair to the guests and unnecessary. The place does need some TLC and general maintenance. Also, I probably wouldn't book any of the tours or excursions through the hotel. You're far better off going on TripAdvisor and booking them that way. They're expensive and you don't know what you're getting through the hotel. Location wise, this is close to town and you'll have to go there to get to anything else other than the hotel. Otherwise a great stay and highly recommended.

I’m very confused by the positive reviews for this place as it is definitely not 5 stars. The hotel has no central AC: none of the restaurants or common areas are cooled in 90-100 degree weather with 90% humidity. The room itself cools only to 72 degrees but feels like 78 due to the humidity, and it appears management will turn it off remotely if they think you don’t need AC (on one of the nights it rained, our AC was turned off remotely and it got as hot as 80 in the room). There’s not enough seats around the pool, and the pools are quite small given the amount of people that stay here. The pools are also in disrepair with missing tiles that you can cut your feet on. The pool also closes an hour earlier than their website indicates. The website is also EXTREMELY misleading about the actual amount of restaurants to dine at. Most of the restaurants only open for dinner despite the website indicating that they open for breakfast and lunch. Unclear if this is intentional…Overall, it’s not worth the money and can be quite a miserable experience. Very very upsetting and disappointing and i really want to know why this place has so many 5 stars as it’s extremely misleading and does not present an accurate picture of the place.Edited to add: the Hilton’s response about all areas of the hotel behind cooled is just a straight up lie.

The pool is outstanding. The swim-up bar is great and the drinks are good. The private beach is nice, too. It is much more secluded than other beachfront resorts. All of the rooms face the ocean so the patio has a great view. The water pressure in the shower is really good! 🚿

I had an amazing time at the Hilton! The staff and service was AMAZING! Alan, Blanca, Edgar, Saul, Rafael, and Esmeralda gave service a whole new name! They are truly an asset to the company. Despite the hurricane and other natural causing disasters, the staff remained calmed and made my family and I feel safe, welcomed, secure. The food and drinks were delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back my next visit to Vallarta. Thank you all for making this vacation a wonderful memorable experience!

This hotel was very disappointing. The elevators were out of service. Only one running. Had to wait a long time for the elevator. The food was cold and uncooked. No buffet for dinner. Very dirty hotel. Blood outside the lobby door that wasn’t cleaned for the week we were there. Very disgusting. The inside lobby tables were never cleaned. My 86 year old mom had her jewellery stolen from her room!! They didn’t do a thing for her only that they would look into it. There was no follow up to how this matter was concluded. I was shocked that they didn’t offer her anything for this huge violation!! The public bathrooms were dirty and paper towels would not come out of dispensers. The hallways outside the rooms were dirty and not mopped! Overall we were not impressed and will never return. I recommend not going to this hotel. It is not a Hilton but rent the name. Do not expect the same cleanliness and professionalism that you would receive from a genuine Hilton hotel!! Also this hotel is not walkable to anywhere. It’s up a mountain where a lot of homeless and garbage is! Lastly all of us got very sick from the lack of cleanliness! Vomitting and diarrhea for 4 days!!!!

Update, Hilton leaves a comment on the review, asking me to reach out to them to a number that not in service, and i filled out a form online, and STILL NOTHING!My husband and I heard nothing but amazing reviews about this resort. We decided to spend our honey here based on the amazing reviews that were online. Unfortunately, I would not use the word amazing to describe our stay… After a day of traveling from the States we finally arrived at the resort around 9-930pm we were exhausted. It kind of went downhill from the bellmen not taking out the luggage from our Uber when we arrived at the resort. Once we got to the front desk to check in the receptionist seemed as if she couldn’t be bothered. When we checked in she stated that the room was for two guests but one of the guests was not all-inclusive…I have no idea how you can book a room at an all-inclusive resort and one guest not being all-inclusive blows my mind. After going back and forth with the receptionist she stated it would be an extra $250…We bit our tongue because we had been on a plane all day and gave her our card. She then proceeded to say it’s $250 a night for six nights….we stayed calm and cool again and decided we would pay it because what else can we do at this point? That unfortunately was not the end of our frustration with this resort. The description for this resort was adults only and we were shocked that there were families throughout this resort. That was one of the reasons we chose this resort. When we checked into our room and took showers we found out the shower drain didn’t work so for three nights our shower overflowed into the bathroom. We went to the front desk twice to have this issue resolved and twice it wasn’t taken care of until our third try. The remote to our TV from our original check-in also wasn’t working which hindered us from ordering room service as it could only be done through the TV as explained to us through the bell hoop. The final straw for us was when we asked the housekeepers r to please replace the shower gel because when we checked in the bottle was empty. We asked her 3 times as well and on the 3rd time, we tipped her just to make sure it got refilled. She finally changed it and also gave us freshly cleaned towels for the bathroom or so we thought. When my husband went in to take a shower and dried off he began to yell. When he opened the towel to dry off his body the towel had a horrible smell and to both of our disgust, it had fecal matter on it. To be very honest the staff in this resort weren’t friendly or accommodating it seemed like we were more of a burden to them than actual customers. For the last three days of our stay, we just stayed in the room and ordered room service till it was time for us to leave. I would not suggest this resort to my worst enemy let alone friends and family. We are not that “customer”, we both are in the service industry at the Executive level and understand things happen!! This was our honeymoon from having our wedding at an all-inclusive, but the First & Last time at any Hilton in my eye.

Words alone can not express the most amazing time my mother, sister, daughter and myself had here. The staff was amazing from the moment we arrived. Abraham went above and beyond when we arrived one of our rooms wasn't ready, he went downstairs to see what was happening with the room. Long story short (which was only maybe 5 minutes) got our rooms changed being right next to each other and that worked even better for us. Thank you for being amazing at what you do, we hope to see you again. The Italian restaurant the name (I can't remember) To the chef and the stuff thank you for helping delivery a delicious meal to my mother two unfortunately had to go to the room due to a headache. Above and beyond! The breakfast buffet was amazing food was abundant it was all delicious I tried new things that I never thought I'd try. Everything was fresh! The best steak at the steakhouse was amazing the little dinner rolls with the garlic on the inside delicious everything was fresh!I wish we were there longer to try out the other restaurants.Us girls had a spa day at the resort that was amazing! Manicure, pedicure, facials and massage. I could have used a wheelbarrow back up to our room. The staff around the pool were on the ball with cold drinks and water bottles, they did amazing job in the heat!!This was the 3rd time in Mexico andI can say for my self it was the most wonderful experience in a resort. We want to bring the rest of our family back so they can experience this amazing place.FYI the cabs there were friendly helpful and very safe.I can't wait to go back!!!! :)

Nous reviendrons certainement un jour !!!(Avis d'origine)We had a wonderful 7 night stay at Hilton Vallarta. The Location was absolutely beautiful, the views and sunset was some of the best i have ever seen. The beach was perfect, private, water was 81', calm with mellow waves which was perfect for snorkeling and free kayaking. There were people swimming from 7am till 8pm.The SERVICE was fantastic, the employees really work hard to please you and cater to you. The pool servers (The Edwardo's) were so attentive, we never had to search for them, always right there to hand us another drink. The entertainment staff was awesome (Allen and Tawny) , so funny and really engaged with the audience. The hotel lobby bartenders were also wonderful. The food was good, not amazing. Buffet was good, Italian and Mexican restaurants were our favorite.Only Cons: The Humidity and the Hotel only has AC in the rooms and restaurants due to the Hotel being a open concept, which is very cool for the views you get but hot. The mosquitos, we were eaten alive, the check in line at the Hotel was long. Lastly, you cant make dinner reservation ahead of time, only 24 hours in advance so you have to make sure to be at the Hotel everyday at 5:30 to make the following day reservation. BUT none of these are deal breakers. We will definitely be back one day!!!

Absolutely spectacular hotel and staff. We felt welcome, safe, and we were treated like royalty. It truly is all inclusive and it's not just limited to beer and wine. You can order any type of beverage, eat anything at any of their 6 restaurants, order room service, IT'S ALL INCLUDED! since the Hilton bought it out it is no longer adults only but it's still a great time. All the servers and bartenders were amazing but special shout-out to Gerardo, Alfredo, Daniel, and Giovanni they all went above and beyond for us. The activities they offer are fun and the themed nights are a blast. They actually have a bar open past 10 which was really nice to be able to socialize with the other travelers. Another really nice thing they do is protect the hotel guests. As you're coming and going you have to go though a gate so not just anyone can walk up to the lobby. You provide them your room number and where you're going so they always know where you're at, it's something that made us feel really really safe. I would 100% recommend anyone to this hotel.

As others have posted, the beach and swimming are excellent a this resort. The breakwaters provide for a nice protected area which is good for snorkeling. The access to the beach and pools is very convenient from the hotel. We liked that you can get a nice variety of sun or shade at different locations and times of day. We were always able to find available beach chairs at all different times of day. The design of the complex with two 14 story towers with a lower tower (7 stories I think?) connecting in the middle provides the variety of sun and shade patterns throughout the day. The service and the food were both excellent. We found the staff to be friendly, courteous, and professional. We were very pleased with everything about this stay and plan to return in the future.

On the weekends the service is great, but during the week you can tell people do not care as much. You have to ask for things much much more. I was denied entry into a restaurant for lunch because I had a bathing suite on? (at a beach resort) I went to that restaurant and others several more times with similar attire and never had a problem again. The drinks are weak and you need to ask for a double most times. The beach is nice but please be aware there is a lot of beach break (those rocks help a little).Great location. Bed's were good and I have a bad back. Rooms are nice with plenty of space. Amazing staff award goes to Ricardo on the beach and Marco in the kitchen cooking omelets. The food was very good and we enjoyed the variety of restaurants.

Unfortunately, we are NOT coming back.We arrived on Monday and wondering how we can stay here for 6 more days.***NO Air conditioning. It’s extremely hot and we are sweating all of the time. No place to cool off. I got nauseous waiting in the lobby to be checked in. Lobby bathroom is extremely small. There’s air conditioning only in the gym and bedrooms set to 23 degrees Celsius which you cannot adjust.***NO FANS anywhere really. You’ll get toasted. Extremely hot.Food is mostly bad. Exceptions: fresh tacos and eggs / omelets made to order for breakfast are great, the food at the food trucks is also good. We have tried most places so far (except the Italian restaurant). Worried about food poisoning given that there isn’t air conditioning in the restaurants, nor there are fans. Recommendations: at least put fans on the restaurant patios, a couple by the pools, by the food trucks and the tortilla making workers as those workers and customers are getting toasted from the heat. Put AC units inside the restaurants so people can enjoy their food or can cool down in the afternoon and grab a drink inside. There’s no place too cool off.Front desk male worker was rude, kind of transactional. Our room wasn’t ready until 5pm. They were supposed to call us and didn’t. We kept going upstairs to check. Not enough chairs by the pool and beach.Room smells like mold. Cannot control air conditioning. Hallways are loud, you can hear everything through the door.Elevator floors are gross, dirty with hair, etc. Many workers, but not checking on you enough.Gym is good for a hotel gym. I liked it.There’s good entertainment and lots of it, lots of organized activities such as karaoke, live music, volleyball, yoga, stretch, cycling, 1.5-hr of live cello which was amazing, very talented musician. Edgar, the entertainment guy is funny and he’s working hard to increase engagement.Great beach and view.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay here for part two of our honeymoon. Like others have said, the a/c was a problem for us but we were given a different, upgraded room at no charge and that more than made up for it. Most of the service we had was outstanding, the odd team member a little lackluster but most were fantastic. Emmanuel in the Enclave lounge was a highlight! He was so sweet and helpful, made great cocktails and arranged a special sunset for us. My biggest issue here was the cleanliness of the seating in the buffet restaurant - it needs a major deep clean as seats have really bad stains such that I didn't even want to sit there. And I'm not a germophobe. Room service was excellent. Italian restaurant was not great at all. But overall a lovely stay.

The resort and the staff were amazing. I stayed for a week and felt completely at home. Housekeeping amazing, bartenders amazing, restaurant staff amazing. You are always greated with a smile. Victor at the Sky Lounge was the best part. He remembers your name and your drink and is always there to assist.

We stayed at the Hilton Vallarta on Thanksgiving week. I brought along my service dog and I understood their rules and regulations but they are too strict for their handler. If you really want to accommodate all of your guests then you should reevaluate your restrictions on service animal and handler presence. You should know that if the handler doesn't have their service animal present it could be a life or death situation: panic attacks, discomfort, dissociation, suicidal thoughts or behaviors, medical emergencies, medication reminders, self harm, etc. The signs may not be present physically but they are present all the time mentally. I know as Mexicans' we tend not to believe in mental health or alignments but they very much as harmful to the individual as the physical ones or even worse. I understand that the service animal could cause discomfort in a dining situation but just sitting quietly around the pool area without being inside the pool or not bothering anyone is harsh. If others don't understand the presences of service animal then they should be educated and not reprimand the handler for an alignment that isn't their fault. The good thing for the hotel was that I somewhat have control of my alignment and I don't require her presence, although it makes me feel at ease and in safe position.Another thing you should reevaluate is the amount you pay your employees. Most are tip-hungry and if you didn't give a tip in dollars then they would treat you less, make a discontent face that will make you feeling guilty, or would not restock the drinks in the room when cleaning. I shouldn't have to tip your service to get the service that I have paid for. We all make sacrifices to pay for a well deserved vacation. Also, you get discernmented if you spoke Spanish by some of your staff. Not all staff are bad, some were awesome with my service dog and I. They were concerned about my health when I got removed form the pool area with my service dog. I also encountered wonderful personal in the Vela location that treated us with dignity and respect. Your a top named brand around world then you should reevaluate your business strategies with your employees and variety of guests. You should also clean all common areas at night. Your resort requires alot of cleanliness especially all common grounds and I don't mean the pool but the surroundings and hallways. Also, the late night room service menu needs more items. The entertainment personnel were wonderful and very patient with drunken guests. I loved and miss the donuts. Oh, my goodness they were so good.

Had a great 4 night stay with my two girlfriends. Lots of activities for adults & kids. Resort never feels overcrowded as lots of places to lounge at the 2 pools & beach during the day and many restaurants/bars for evening time. Breakfast buffet was so good with lots of choices. The only restaurant we weren’t impressed with was the Italian one. Honestly the lunch food trucks by the pool were our favorite. Great staff that were very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Incredible resort, amazing food and outstanding staff! We just returned from a 6 night stay at this wonderful resort. We had an amazing time and can't wait to go back soon. Every single staff member we interacted with was super hardworking, friendly and helpful. Starting from Stephen at the front desk, to the bellhop, to every single staff member at the pools, restaurants and buffets (Mario, Armando, Hugo, Marcos, the staff at Sunan Sushi). The food at the steakhouse was outstanding. The seafood at Cocomar was super fresh and tasty. All the food at this resort fully exceeded our expectations.

It was good. It feels safe. Initially had a lot of issues with the room. They moved us quickly. It’s only a few minutes out of town. It’s all inclusive. The food could be better but it’s tolerable. We have gone into town a lot. Very very good food in town.

We stayed for a week. This is a very typical all-inclusive resort. It has all of the amenities, but there's nothing special about it vs a similar resort. In fact, compared to Cancun, the sand here doesn't feel as good to walk on and its beach seems to be blocked off from neighboring areas. There's also a ton more mosquitos, so bring bug spray. I'd also avoid the beach side restaurants because the bugs are flying all around the food. The alcohol is watered down and the food is super salty. It's crowded on the weekends but pretty empty on the weekdays. I don't think you need to spend more than a few days here. Being so isolated, there's just not that much to do and the city's attractions feel like tourist traps. I don't regret coming here, but I don't really see a reason to come back.

Overall 3/5.Positives:Location. It’s absolutely beautiful here. It’s a little far from the city. If you are fine with that, the ocean with the backdrop of the dense green mountains create a romantic setting.Kids club. It was actually quite nice and if you have little ones or toddlers, they will enjoy it.Staff: very friendly people.Average:Food: the highlight was the breakfast buffet, which itself was just average. We have been to many all inclusives within Mexico and around the world. Some of these resorts are priced less than this Hilton, but have better food. Overall average.Below average:Drinks: old fashioned….did not taste good. Tried it at the main lobby bar and sky bar. Pina colada was below average. Mojito at Mojito bar was good.Resort upkeep: pools are smaller and kind of sad for a resort in this setting and price point. They abut right against the beach and ocean which is kind of cool! The tiles were falling off….Rooms: We asked for two conjoined rooms when we booked. Upon check in, we were informed they didn’t have conjoined rooms, which is understandable. However, they gave us rooms on different floors…wouldn’t it make sense to at least book the rooms together if conjoined rooms were requested on booking? The rooms on the lobby level suck. They had nightly entertainment and it got super loud with drunk people. Annoying if you want to rest.Overall disappointed. It’s priced higher than some other places but the quality isn’t there. Overall average. Not blown away.

We had an amazing time at this resort. We enjoyed all of the entertainment options. Alan made dance lessons so fun (and my husband and I cannot dance). Edgar and Blanca also did a great job with all of the entertainment options. The lobby staff was very helpful and attentive whenever we asked for assistance and the poolside service was great. The only difficulty was keeping our room the right temperature as the AC works great but sometimes was too cold for us. We had an amazing time and definitely hope to come back in the future as we were so sad to leave!

Wow!!! This hotel is absolutely amazing. Fantastic service/staff, delicious food & drinks, plus a beautiful view. We spent 7 days in paradise for our honeymoon & can't wait to come back next year. Jose Lujano & Luis were bartenders from the pool bar who MADE our trip. They crafted us beautiful cocktails by the pool all week. Mel took care of our cabana which is a must have add on. Overall we had an amazing trip & HIGHLY recommend this Hilton !!

I liked the food and drink. The room was a good size but they put us on the fourth floor and people kept walking by the room and we were right below the bar. I would go back to this resort but I would just have gotten a different room. I liked the buffet and the service there. The sushi place was great. The Italian restaurant was just okay. The food trucks and the bar by the pool was good.

Such a great place to bring your family. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view. Pro-tip: Bring flip flops for your room because it's close to impossible to keep sand out while staying at the beach!I want to recognize FIVE employees that stood out to us: Fer (Bartender), Marcos (Breakfast Chef), Violeta (Activity Coordinator), Alan (Activity Coordinator) and Israel (Kayak Coordinator). All five of these employees went above and beyond making us feel so welcome, it changed how we felt the whole week. Truly...these people are the reason I'd return to the same resort.Important to note: If you're looking to shop for gifts and souvenirs, you'll have to take a cab into town - there is nothing walkable from the hotel. And don't buy from the local vendors that walk the beach - you will pay 3-4X mark up from the exact things in town.Lastly, the food in general was a huge happy surprise. I was very impressed with the different styles and ethnicities offered on a daily basis. But if you hope to get a bite from the food trucks at the pool, expect it to take 60-90 minutes, depending on how many people are there that week.Overall.....if you're trying to decide where in Puerto Vallarta to stay, you can probably stop looking now. I've traveled around the world; and this place is amazing.

Experience at Hilton was delightful. The service form staff was quick, and food was delicious at every seating. Great location for kids and adults of all ages. My wife and I went with a party of 13 family members age ranging from 11 months to 70 years old, and every one except the baby said they had a wonderful time. One thing I would recommend to hotel management is more up keeping to the facility, lobby furniture, and fixtures needs cleaning. Other than that, the beach waves are perfect, rooms service is perfect, entertainment is perfect, all the restaurants food is perfect. My favorite was the Italian restaurant. Hope you enjoy your stay. Make sure to sign up for Hilton rewards.

We recently returned from a wonderful 5 night stay ! All aspects of the hotel, from the lovely rooms, the incredible views, the very nice food and the warm staff all made the experience memorable. We were fortunate to interact with Juan Reyes as our Concierge. Juan went above and beyond in helping us with choosing activities, making restaurant reservations on-site in the evenings, even helping to get us into the best room available.Juan gave us great advice on how to travel to and from the town of Puerto Vallarta for the day to sightsee and wander on the streets he personally enjoyed.Overall, our stay was flawless and we will be glad to recommend the hotel to friends and family and hopefully to return there ourselves at some time in the future.

In the adults only floor but not Enclave. We had a blast! The food was delicious, everyone was so friendly. I'd love to come back soon. Check-in was painfully slow but the bar is close by so, no biggie. Side note: Uber to the zoo and take the local bus to town.

We stayed here for 7 days. First, beautiful scenery! Lush mountains on one side and a fun beach on the other. My 7 year old and I enjoyed snorkeling. We took a short taxi ride to El Centro (Malecon) and Romantic Zone for a quick stroll around town on one of the days. Breakfast at Vela was a must to start off our day. Service was good. Isela (at Vela) always greeted us with a smile and provided good service. The food was good. Also, the wait staff at the pool were attentive and provided good service. Eduardo took care of us at the pool. Cons included: lack of A/C in some restaurants, lots of flying critters in our balcony and corridors due to a couple days of rain, and rocky beach shore (wear water shoes). Overall, it was a good stay!

Birthday trip to PV, Hilton gold member. Was complimentary upgraded for room due to gold status- paid for partial ocean view then upgraded to ocean view. Room was clean and spacious, beautiful white marble bathroom. There were two outdoor pools, adults only side and kid friendly side. My BF and i stayed on the adults only side and received top notch pool side service. Drinks were delicious. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. shout out to Milchaedes and Daniel who assisted us at the pool! We used the beach access every day and took multiple dips in the ocean. Food was great, no complaints! The front desk was very helpful if we needed any additional items for our room, and they were able to provide a toothbrush which was much appreciated:) Definitely would recommend this all inclusive resort for those who want a great value resort but it’s not too high of a nightly rate. For two people, we paid $1940 for 5 nights. They also provided a taxi service, so we were able to take a taxi to town to enjoy the boardwalk for an evening!

My group of family and friends (a group of 18)went to our yearly vacation in the middle of July but were very disappointed with the resort. We had reservations for 6 rooms, and there was something wrong in each room starting from rust in the lamps to non working showers. Two couples had to be relocated for broken shower and flooding and to top it off with an extra fee for relocating to another room. Shouldn't have charged since it was their fault. The cleaning of the rooms were minor, we had to ask them of they can clean cause there's was sand from the beach. The food in the outside buffet had many flies. And for us, the lobby was a big issue cause we like to spend time together but the seats, couches, were very outdated and uncomfortable. Kept getting spiders coming down from the big lamp on top. More fans would have been nice as well. We did enjoy dinners when we had the reservations, although they couldn't sit us all together. The service in the inside buffet and restaurants was very good. The beach was amazing,it gave us nice calm water with those rocks that were placed to block big waves. But overall, I do not recommend this resort. Our vacation could have been good if the resort was updated and free of charge for relocating people when it's the resort's fault.

My partner took me on a weekend getaway here! The staff are super friendly and I highly recommend folks check out the daily activities day and night ( the silent disco and tequila tasting was epic).Be prepared for the high humidity and busy seasons. I realized the day we were leaving there were cobwebs by the entrance and bugs under the sink. Sometimes the app is a bit buggy which lead one of our late night orders to be wrong (be patient there are a lot of folks ordering and the staff work very hard).Overall an amazing time and can’t wait to come back.

The overall experience was very good. We had amazing service from Antonio who works in the lobby, Alain and Edgar and Bianca Entertainment and generally very good experiences with all of the staff. They all said how happy they were working here and they love the company which is very important for the guest experience. The food was also very good and the beach is excellent. Also, the views are great from all of the rooms. There is however something that nobody seems to be talking about. The property is old, probably about 30 years old and it shows in many areas. So if you’re looking for a fancy new property, this is not for you, but everything else checks all of the boxes.

Our family just got back from here as we chose this place to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. There were 5 of us in 2 rooms. Checking in was a bit of a lengthy process but after that the service was just exceptional across the board. They have a number of great places to eat and the menus are extensive all part of the inclusive price. The only additional costs we ran into was for like a tomahawk steak or lobster which is reasonable IMHO. The staff was amazing and attentive to our every need. My wife had a wonderful treatment at the in house spa. We ate at every restaurant on site and we're never disappointed. The favorite of the whole family was the salmon at Coco Mar. They add some kind of magic to that thing and I don't think it was the constant flow of margaritas :). I would rate the actual rooms as average but we were rarely in them. The pool areas which adjoin the beach were wonderful and the swim up bartenders were fantastic beverage crafters.

My husband and I wanted an easy, relaxing vacation somewhere warm, and decided to try out this resort. The views are absolutely breathtaking, the room was clean and modern (although could use some updated paint and repairs), and the people working there were kind, friendly and helpful. We did not find the food as good as others have mentioned in their reviews, but also understand we live in an area known for its food culture, so that is probably more relative to what you’re used to. The resort had activities during the day and evenings, and Edgar and Blanca did a great job recruiting people to participate, and they were wildly entertaining. Although every staff member we spoke with was amazing, Eduardo by the pool and Sergio at La Luce were absolutely wonderful. The staff is worth the trip!

I CANNOT WAIT TO GO AGAIN!!! LOVE FROM MONTANA!I had the most amazing stay here! I have never been out of the country (Canada doesn't count - haha) and I am so happy I chose Puerta Vallarta Mexico and this resort as it did not disappoint. The staff was so welcoming from the minute we stepped in and immediately saw the ocean! Check in was easy, finding our room was easy!We had a 2-queen 6th floor ocean View (All the rooms are ocean view) the room was clean and modern and spacious with tons of amenities - like a spa like bathroom, big screen tv, HUGE balcony, big comfy beds, plenty of seating as well! There was a cute nescafe coffee maker, and minifridge and tons of snacks and drinks and waters always available. Housekeeping was amazing and refilled the snacks and always made sure we had a clean room and towels - DON'T FORGET TO TIP YOUR HOUSEKEEPERS!!The hotel has the most amazing beaches! The water is clear and warm. The beach staff is attentive and kept the Pina Coladas flowing! They offered lunches on the beach too! Nothing like a cheeseburger and fresh guacamole beach side! Thank you Jose, Omar & Merquades! TIP YOUR WAIT STAFF!!!The service in the main bar as well as the nightly entertainment was fun and exciting! Much thanks to Yar, Angie & Karen in the bar for making sure I always had a mojito! The service in my favorite restaurant La, Luce was TOP NOTCH FIVE STAR! Ask for Sergio for some good laughs and cheer and Sergio keeps the parmesan flowing! Such delicious meals here in the Italian restaurant and by far my favorite.Do not sleep on the Vela the buffet! Rene and Ivana in the buffet were so kind and attentive and always made sure we had fresh juices and coffee. TIP YOUR WAIT STAFF!!! The buffet featured a variety of tasty different foods all day and they were always refreshed and plentiful - a great kitchen staff for sure. The pools were awesome and clean and there was always an activity to do. The nightly entertainment like dancers, singers and open markets were fun and enjoyable.THIS WAS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE WITH MY LIFE!P.S. The transportation is tricky to figure out, the room had a slight odor of salt and bleach - cannot be helped and there is a strong pressure to upsail excursions but stick to your guns and say no. You do not need to leave the resort whatsoever!!!!

This all inclusive resort is beautiful! It has its own private beach and has many activities to enjoy from including kayaks, Atvs and has an enourmous pool as well. All the food was amazing, it has several different types of restaurants to choose from and the service was phenomenal! Definitely check it out if you’re ever wanting to book an all inclusive resort.

We traveled to this location to celebrate our anniversary and were greeted by extremely friendly and helpful staff. The main lobby is very large and well decorated and designed to be a gathering place as well, equipped with a coffee shop (that is not included) and bar. It was unexpected but they brought chocolate dipped strawberries with happy anniversary written in chocolate our first night which was greatly appreciated by my wife. Each night the hotel has some kind of entertainment. Some was good and some was ok at best. The singer Erika was so great and had the whole place dancing in the main lobby/lounge we were there. There was also poolside activities spread throughout the day and special dining events like paella making that one could enjoy most days.I liked that they had several lounges throughout the hotel that were themed and nice little spots to change up the view. The schedules of the special lounges and restaurants were weird but not enough to detract from our trip too much. Many of the lounges and restaurants had later hours and most were only open a couple days during the week. You were able to scan your bracket to access an info page and make reservations, which is absolutely necessary for managing the odd hours and days of each place.Breakfast and lunch were the typical buffet style that you see at many resorts, but I will admit they were well stocked with many options. Just expect breakfast especially to be extremely busy and the service quality to be on the lower side. There were a couple of lunch alternatives to include a seafood restaurant and some food trucks to get some small plate items and snacks so at least that offered a bit more variety. While most was reasonably good, culinary creativity definitely focused on dinner at this hotel. We dined at each restaurant during our stay but Maxal and La Luca were the best restaurants in the hotel by far. Ernesto and Christopher at Maxal were awesome servers who were extremely attentive and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Guacamole was handmade at table and was a great touch to the overall dining experience. The best part of the trip though had to be Sergio at La Luca. We enjoyed this restaurant so much we stopped there four times in the five days we were at the resort. We even planned earlier dinners so we could stop by later in the evening for small plates and dessert there. The food was amazing every time and Sergio was probably the most attentive, friendly and personable waiter I think I have ever had. We asked for him each time we dined there and his service was impeccable. It definitely felt like we were back in Italy and Sergio really did an incredible job. With all of the great things that we experienced at the resort, only a few negatives came from our experience. The poolside bartenders were hit or miss and some were very inattentive (took a long time to get a drink) and seemed like they didn’t want to be there at all while others were very good. The biggest issue we had was getting the room serviced. We to go to the desk to get a door tag to hang for turndown service because there was not one in the room when we arrived. It wasn’t a major inconvenience but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference. Restocking of the room was terrible. Only one day of 5 was anything refilled which was irritating because the towels and bedding was done properly so we knew they came to the room. We ran out of tissues, coffee pods, cups and fridge drinks. Asked the desk several on separate occasions but that didn’t seem to help. After day four, we finally gave up asking the desk and would just grab what we needed from the bar, pool or service carts parked in the hallways and take it back to our room.I would give this resort a 4/5 stars overall. The great dining, pools and atmosphere was enjoyable but the weird dining schedules and poor room service took away from the overall experience.

This hotel didn’t even come close to meeting my expectations. There is a stain on EVERY piece of furniture. The elevators are slow and barely operational, so there a large crowds waiting to get up to the rooms. The rooms and amenities were extremely underwhelming, so much so that I tried to cancel this reservation an hour after arriving, but they held me to a non-refundable reservation. If you’re anything like me, you hate to pay quality prices only to receive less than suitable conditions.I took a vacation for some rest and relaxation, which I did not get here. It’s so terrible, I’m considering paying for another hotel and leaving even though my stay is not refundable.I’ve stayed at many Hiltons, and this is by far the worst that I’ve ever visited. I wish I hadn’t.

Relaxing hotel with a variety of pools, restaurants, activities, and serene views. The pool staff—especially Alfredo and Jose—were fabulous and handled our large group well! Highly recommend the cabanas as well, they were a good value. The rooms were clean, spacious, and with oceanfront views. The one negative was the food. I wish there would have been more authentic Mexican options instead of leaning heavy on American staples.

The food is mediocre but I’m picky(sushi spot is the best). There is a smell but I think that might be the beach(I live I utah ) . The service is amazing ,the views are amazing the beach is almost private. Overall I would do it again for sure .PS the skybar has been empty the entire time I was here. Nice shaded lounge chairs, hot tubs, ocean view and basically a bar private bartender.

We stayed here in May of 2024 for our honeymoon and it was worth every penny! We booked through Costco Travel which is DEFINITELY the way to go. The food here is fantastic, all of the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, the activities were fun, and the bars/drinks were great as well. The pool and beach areas were very clean and we could always find a spot at a lounge chair with an umbrella. The location is also very convenient to get into town. It is a little far from the airport but that wasn't an inconvenience for us at all. We especially loved Yair (bartender), Eduardo (bartender), Alan (events person), Luis (bartender), and Natalino (bartender). They were all so friendly and welcoming! We definitely recommend staying here!

Very bad experience!!! We book are family vacation/ anniversary here it was 12 of us all together. Right from the start it was a bad experience since check in ,when checking in they gave us all different information and because it was so busy d not take the time to go over all the information we has to just keep learning as we go or keep asking staff or other guess on what was actually going on. We had an ancient with my husband for dinner that we has not allowed to come and join us unless he change his shirt because he was in a tank top, when we saw for our own eyes other men same shirt and also women in swim tops , when trying to use our $50 credit was told u can use it on this not on that but we were all given different information on that as well. SPOKE WITH Karen the supervisor that day and she was no help what so ever . I also had my ice pack stolen from my room when I mentioned it to Karen said if we had report it told her yes and then she went on and said she knew nothing about it and pass us a long to an other person Alejandra and said she had nothing either and that we didn't report it correctly but she will follow up, once again we hear the same words and thing will happen again, so I stood my ground and said she can call head of security Carlos, so she told me have a seat I'll let u know when he comes in , when he arrive she call me up with a blank face he look at me and I look at him and the he turn to ask Alejandra on the reason he was there , I stood there in laugh on the fact that Alejandra call me up to do a report and Carlos had no clue what was going on, I believe Alejandra should of fill him in before calling me up so they were all on the same page. When I spoke with Carlos he asked are u here for the missing shoe? No I told him I here about my ice pack that was stolen from my room which I need for my daughter s milk . He said he had to go up and check my room said that's fine then when they finally did he comes back we'll we didn't find it up there as that was not Obvious enough why else will I be reporting it missing, then he go's on and tell me next step is search all ur suitcase by that time are car was here to take us to the airport then I get told that they will follow up with me in 48 hours or so since they need to look a video, we will have to wait and see if they actually do.

Food: mediocre - nothing special. Breakfast buffet at Vela every morning was the best. They have different cuisines for lunch and dinner (Mexican, Italian, and Asian)Service: the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and answered all the questions we had. We didn’t have to wait long at check-in since we got there before the rush.Rooms: you can hear every single thing. If you’re a light sleeper this hotel may not be for you. The AC is constantly clicking, birds in the halls screeching at 3am, noisy noisy neighbors (which the hotel addressed promptly when we called it in). Other than that it’s clean, spacious, comfy. Only odd thing was the bathroom. There’s a glass wall between the toilet and shower. There’s also blinds you can lower if you don’t want anyone else in your room watching you shower or use the bathroom.App/Website: they need to be better about updating the times that restaurants are open and the room service page. Seasalt was not open everyday like the app said. The room service page needs to be updated to accurately reflect all the foods they do have. There’s a cute duck we decided to name Phillip that hangs by the pool. We looked forward to seeing him everyday.

We had an amazing time at this resort and definitely recommend it to everyone! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service from all the staff.Gerardo at the Sky Bar truly stood out with his outstanding service, making our experience even more memorable. The resort offers a wide variety of fantastic bars, restaurants, and activities, all included in the stay.We can't wait to come back!

Our first night there were some issues with our room, but the front desk took care of it and moved us the next day. The staff and service is exceptional, food was pretty good, and large pool area with private beach was nice. All rooms have full ocean view except for some on the lower levels with partials. Hotel is about 30 mins from airport and 15 mins from town. There was music and shows many of the evenings. The restaurants and reservation system was a little tough to figure out and buffet had long waits during weekends and when there were large conventions. This was a wonderful experience and I would recommend if you don’t mind the location being out of town a bit.
